Is having mobile data necessary during holidays?

This subject is debatable.

Now, how many of you think it is necessary?

With mobile data, I can:
1. Surf facebook, it have become part of our daily life to surf facebook when we are idling.
2. Search online for the nearest eatery
3. Compare the pricing of the merchandise against own local country.

But many, will think that mobile data is not necessary.
1. There are a lot of wifi hotspot available during my holiday for me to hook on.

With the many arguments going on, maybe you should ask yourself.
1. What is the cost of renting the mobile hotspot / local prepaid sim card?

Now if the cost is relatively low, say 1 GB (data) for USD5. What it does bring for you, is convenience.

Imagine, you no longer have to try and scan for wifi-hotspot and you can simply hooked on the internet without bursting your own data-roaming.
No more worry about the expensive bill shock that may come when you receive the telephone bill. There is no need to be afraid that you overuse, as it is a pre-paid service. Upon hitting the limit, data service is simply cut off till your next top-up.

So as my personal opinion, there are more pro than cons if we were to still have mobile data service during the holidays.
